Overview

The Double Dragons Trading package combines our best-selling indicator, Solar Wind, with the classic MA Crossover indicator. Solar Wind excels in monitoring market price movements and providing detailed insights into price dynamics. Meanwhile, MA Crossover offers a comprehensive view by outlining the market’s primary trend. This package is specifically tailored for traders who adopt the “Follow the trend” strategy to attain profits.

The widely used MA Crossover indicator serves to determine the primary trend and acts as a filter to select Solar Wind’s highly reliable signals that align with the primary trend. We implement three instances of MA Crossover with the following settings:

• EMA 20 with EMA 200
• EMA 50 with EMA 200
• EMA 100 with EMA 200.

We utilize data for four EMAs: 20, 50, 100, and 200, as outlined in the settings above.

MA Crossover forms cloud bands representing the primary trend, acting as support-resistance areas for price movements during both uptrends and downtrends.

An uptrend is indicated when the EMAs 20, 50, and 100 sequentially cross above the 200 EMA, resulting in blue cloud bands with increasing color intensity. A downtrend is signaled when the EMAs 20, 50, and 100 sequentially cross below the 200 EMA, creating purple cloud bands with increasing color intensity.

Solar Wind, our top-selling indicator of all time, plays a crucial role in providing trading signals within this package. Solar Wind offers numerous features that aid in developing multiple trading systems with versatile styles. In this package, the “Trend” signals of Solar Wind, which align with the primary trend provided by MA Crossover, serve as the main trading signals. Therefore, “Trend in Trend” (the minor trend of Solar Wind within the larger trend of MA Crossover) is a prominent feature of this package. Here, the two trends of the two indicators resemble two powerful dragons winding together and soaring along with the market price movement.

The order entry positions and stop positions in Double Dragons Trading are determined by the following conditions:

• A Buy signal is generated if the Uptrend signal of the Solar Wind indicator appears within the Uptrend phase identified by MA Crossover.
• A Sell signal is generated if the Downtrend signal of the Solar Wind indicator appears within the Downtrend phase identified by MA Crossover.

The stop position is placed at the “Trailing Stop” Plot of the Solar Wind indicator.
